Feeding the people we care about should not be stressful. Food should bring people together to appreciate each other and what we have. My greatest memories are of helping family members in the kitchen, cooking and baking, learning what it meant to appreciate food, and loving every minute of it. However, through the years, I realized that many cookbooks call for ridiculous amounts of one-time-used-ingredients, they are tedious, which then makes us spend an unnecessary amounts of money. Cooking becomes stressful and the love for it leaves the kitchen, the heart of the home.
Creating recipes that are quick n’ easy, mostly healthy, that have interchangeable ingredients that you already have in your kitchen, is what this blog is about. Bringing food back to basics and enjoying the creation of recipes, watching vegetables grow in our own backyards, and supporting local farmers and business owners once again are what is celebrated here. Stress-free cooking and loving real food!
